Waiting for surgery?

I was told by my WLS surgeon since I had female laprascopic surgery (for endometreosis)a month ago I would have to wait at least 6 months for RNY. Could this be possible? Needless to say I was shocked and upset. He even said all my test would have to be redone, since they will be to old at that point? No one advised me not to have the female surgery so close to WLS. Let me add I had no surgery date yet, and didnt expect to have a date pending approval.
