I was told it would take 4-6 MONTHES after the first letter to Aetna PPO.

I had my first consult.at the BTC in Grove City, Ohio on April 4, 2002. They told me that it would take 4-6 monthes just to hear back from Aetna PPO about approval. The only problem is, the insurance is through my husband and he really needs to change jobs quick. I am afraid I will wait 4-6 monthes for approval, (and who knows how long to get a surg. date) just to tell me that the insurance won't cover my surg. I really liked Dr.Viglianco, and would really like to go there if possible. I've looked at the insurers page on this site, and the longest approval time posted was 12 WEEKS! Has anyone else been told it would take this long? Or should I try a different surgoen? Any suggestions welcome! [email protected]. Thanks!
