Anthem bc/bs ppo Wants a 12 month physician monitored diet Is there any way around th

I totally qualify except proof of this 12 month diet. I have four doctor,s that will write letters on my behalf- would this help or is it a waste of time? I have been on 12 mo. diets with doctor's in the past but getting records seems impossible. I was turned down twice by cigna last year but didn't fight it ? i would have done the diet all last year with my doc. if I had known. desperate and beyond discouraged? any hope out there? in PA>
