Before reaching goal, when does the 'tapering' loss begin?

10 months out, and I had a great 11-pound month in May (maybe more, it ain't over yet!) - my best since October when I was three months out. And especially encouraging since April was dismal with only a 3-pound loss. My question: when did those of you who have reached goal, or have quit losing, notice when the tapering loss began? Or did you even taper? How much did it taper down to (1-2 pounds a month? 3-5 pounds a month?) How long did it go on before you quit losing altogether (three months? six months?) In other words, can I assume that since I had a great loss this month, that I have a few 'good' months left in me?
