I have been having a very mucous like feeling in the back of my throat.

This is at the very bottom of my throat, by my collar bone. It feels almost foamy.. I have taken all kinds of heartburn meds like Tumms, pepcid, pepto, and my moms heartburn medication and nothing is working. I also tried some meds for runny noses just in case it was that. Nothing has worked. I had the VBG done 6 weeks ago. Does anyone else have this problem? And if so what do you do about it? Thanks!
