I went to the doctor to have my thyroid and my blood sugar checked .

I did a fasting blood sugar test and my level was 180. I have just did another test and now I am waiting on my results. What I am wondering is, I have already been aproved for surgery(Apri,12) will finding out I have diabetes effect my surgery? I am so worried! Is there any way that this could cause me to not be able to have my surgery? God, I am so scared! Please let me know that Everything will be ok!:o) But if it's not let me know that too!:O( Thanks..
