Has anyone had real good months after tapering off somewhat?

Since November 1, when I began a new job, I've slowed to about 5 pounds a month loss. I am 5 months post-op. Even my doc told me at my 3-month check up he only expected a pound a week loss. I know what I wasn't doing - no exercise, didn't hit my goal for water, etc. Then the holidays (and snows!) came. I still lost 3.5# during Christmas week! However, I've made it my resolution to get back on track with the water and exercise. My question is this: has anyone gotten back on track after their weight loss has slowed to a crawl and been able to drop, say 10-15 pounds in a month? I know we all lose differently, and I am a slow loser anyway, and am at peace with plateaus...just wanna get into the 100's next month!
