How long should I wait before I try to get approval from my new insurance AETNA PPO ?

My Husband just started a job a month and a half ago, and I was wondering how long I should wait before trying to get wls approval? I know his company does not have any pre-existing clauses. We have AETNA PPO US~~Katrina
