Afraid to sleep. I just found out I have sleep apnea - now I'm afraid to go to sleep.

I had my sleep study last night and found out today that I have "Moderately Severe" apnea. My oxygen levels got as low as 66%. NOW I'm afraid to go to sleep. I'm scheduled for a CPAP fitting in a week. Any ideas how to survive until then? Thanks.
