Why is there pressure and a bloated feeling around my incision?

I am 2 weeks post op from an open surgery. I have a pressure, swollen, bloated feeling up high around the top part of my incision, near the very top of my abdomin. Is this normal? What is it? How can I relieve the pressure? It feels like I'm going to split!
