Waht is this tightening feeling in my stomach?

I am almost 3 weeks post op. My pouch feels like it almost spasming. I get this tight, painful feeling just between/below my breasts right in the center. I have had it all day and nothing relieves it. It is there whether I eat or not. Food does not make it worse. It gets really tight like it is being squeezed, and then lightens up. It is pretty constant. I have had some retching, but not today. It is quite bothersome and worse when I lay down. What is this?
