Is is normal to be so low in energy 3 wks post op?

I'm 3 weeks post-op and can barely walk a few feet without being out of breath. It doesn't seem to be getting any better yet. I had to be readmitted to the hospital last week for 4 days because of a high white blood cell count, but they never found the cause. Should I worry at this point?
