Need tips to help this along!

Hi I started out at 346lbs (5'6") in six weeks I have only lost 34lbs I had lap RNY... please oh please give me diet tips, excerise tips etc... Our diet plan allows us carbs a pretty decent amount... should I cut them out? Also I have only been walking... any excerise that burn more faster.. I am terrified I won't be able to get a lot of this weight before the "tool' is no longer useful!! HELP PLEASE.. I am faithful to my diet!! I walk 4-6 times a week for at least a mile!!!
