Fast weight loss: Is this actually too fast?
Woo hoo! I'm down 71 pounds in 12 weeks!! I have less than 100 pounds left to get to my most ambitious goal of 140 lbs! Those 71 pounds represent a loss of 23% of my starting weight (310 lbs), or 42% of my excess weight (170 lbs) in 12 weeks. I thought it was supposed to take a lot longer than that? :-) Is it possible to go TOO FAST? I am exercising a lot, getting enough protein, vitamins, iron & calcium, and make a minor religion out of water consumption, but I still eat some junk once in a while and don't feel like I've been *that* virtuous. Am I just lucky, or are there pitfalls I should worry about?
