I want to switch to Humana PPO on my husband policy.

The company I work for has a exclusion in their policy that stats, that this surgery is not cover, even if medically nestasary. My husband's Policy where he works, which is Humana PPO and they cover the surgery.If I'm put on his policy, will they consider it pre-exsisteing? Will there be a waiting period? Please help me!!
