11 days post op, 40 lbs gone, is this too fast??

Hello all, I am 13 days post op, went to my follow up doc appointment on Thursday, and I have dropped 40 lbs, in 11 days!! Is this too fast??. I started out at 330 and BMI of 57. I am very very shocked. I almost fell off the scale when I saw how much I had lost. I'm just worried I'm losing it too fast. I'm doing everything my doc wants, any input would be appreciated.
