5 months post and now a Hernia?

I just found out at 51/2 months post I have a small hernia. I have had no other complications at all. My surgery was 2/20/01, open rny with exclusion. I run 2miles a day now, even doing 5k races. Should I not be doing this? Do I have to have it fixed or can I wait til I have abdominoplasty next year? Is this common? I have made an appointment with a general surgeon, but thats not for another week and I dont know if I should just chill out on the running thing til then. Thanks for any help Tam
