Does this surgery help with the relief of a prolaped uterus?

Over the past 3 years I have experienced a prolapsed uterus several times. My doctor said that because I have had so many children that the muscles there are weak and because I weigh so much that doesn't help either. Can anyone please send me information on this. I can probably use it to my benefit (unfortunately)! I do not experience too much pain with this...high pain tolerance I guess. I've been told that it is an excrutiating condition but for me it only hurts after....(xxxxx) ya know!!!It usually only lasts a day or two at a time and then corrects itself...thank you Lord.
