Will insurance cover a revision due to staple line leak?

I am 6 months post-op open RNY proximal and have lost 108 pounds. My BMI is around 33 now. My surgeon has found that I have a small staple line disruption. If I have to have a revision, which I would opt to do if it's possible, is it difficult to get insurance companies to cover a revision? Has anyone had to put up a fight to get a revision covered after SLD? Thanks!
