Should I highlight my hair?

Hello, My hair has started to fall out.Not real bad though. I am going to have my hair done, cut and highlighted, and was wondering if my hair will fall out more with lightening my hair? I figure since I am changing the outside of my body...I need to change My hairdo, Right? I feel so good about myself. I have lost 104 pounds! RNY on 3-15-01. Thank You!
