Does it really make a difference in the appearance of your scar whether they use..

steri strips, staples, or sutures. I am afraid that if they use sutures or staples that the Scar from an Open procedure will appear much larger. Should I request steri strips or subcutaneous sutures? How are you scars after surgery? Thanks for any info that you give me!
