CIGNA Healthcare of Jacksonville FL (HMO)- anyone else have it?

I am an employee of a major southeast bank and I'd like to know if anyone else has had the surgery while insured with the CIGNA HMO and how difficult is it to get the approval once the PCP agrees it's medically necessary. I'd like to start gathering whatever documentation and records are necessary to avoid as much frustration as possible to keep the whole experience as positive as possible while I wait for the doctor to figure out that another diet simply isn't the answer. Thanks for all the help I've already received from reading past postings.
