Can you lose 15 pounds on medi-fast prior to surgery? Its required

Hi everyone: I just had my last pre-op meeting with Dr. Lirio yesterday and I need to take medifast for two weeks prior to surgery. Is it possible to lose 15 pounds on this in only 2 weeks? If I don't lose this he said he would postpone my surgery. I've waited almost a year to get this done! Any input would be greatly appreciated.
