Has anyone had WLS at Willford Hall in San Antonio, TX?

I am currently in Aviano, AFB in Italy. There is an Air Force surgeon at Lakenheath, AFB in England, but he will be leaving in May. There is a possibility he will be referring me to Willford Hall. Has anyone had their WLS there and what were your experiences? I have heard they have a year waiting list. Was this the case for any of you and how long did it take for you to gat a surgery date. I'm eager to hear from anyone out there. Thanks!
