I have BCBS of MI Community Blue....

I am hoping to have surgery through the BTC. I received a letter from BTC saying that before they send my info to BCBS they want medical records of previous weight loss attempts. They have a copy of my records from the "Medical Weight Loss Clinic", but the letter states they want something from my PCP or something.... Any ideas? I have no weight loss attempts from a PCP because over the past few years I have been either jumping from ins. company to ins. company or many times I have been without insurance. I would appreciate any help.
