Has anyone ever Had this?

I have been diagnosed with having no iron left in my body after a period for two years straight. I have been on 3 pills a day of iron and they do not show any on my blood work and yes they have checked it more than once. They put my surgery on hold saying I may have a bigger problem that I think.I know about anemia but I never new you could be completly without iron. I am very week but suprisingly still moving around daily.They also mentiond something about maybe my bone marrow wasn't producing natural iron like it should has anyone ever had this problem? I have had to doctors say they can't help my and I might have to go to the hemotologist. This is such a mess.Anyone who may have any information would be really helpfull. Thanks :-)
