Why does my nose seems like it drips all the time.

It seems like I am constantly wiping my nose from a clear nasal drip. I stay cold a lot and I wondered if this wasd why. Has anyone else hade this problem since surgery? Also another qustion, I just heard of a girl who lives in my hometown that had to have surgery because her intestines got all tangled up. She is 2 years post op. Have you heard of this happening? Thanks!
