Will I be able to take my

Since my surgery (3/2/04) I have been taking some of my pre surgery meds in liquid form (lasix and potassium) I hate the taste of the potassium and it makes me sick to my stomach. I am wondering if I will be able to absorb the pills. I also take other meds for depression and thus far open the capsules and put them in my food, will I ever be able to just "take them" with a glass of water instead?
