I am scheduled for surgery on April 2 but havent seen the surgeon since Septermber.

I am a bit concerned that it has been so long since I have seen the surgeon. His office staff has been working with me to get the insurance approval and hospital scheduled but it seems strange to me that in a little over a month this man is going to cut me open and I havent seen him in 6 months. I have heard only good things about my surgeon but I am very anxious about not talking to him again before the surgery. His staff has been very nice one minute and almost mean the next when I call. Does anyone have any suggestions?
