what is usually prescribed 4 an overactivebladder?

hi, i know i have an overactive bladder, i took the online test to see if i had the symptons and as u guessed it i do, so i wanted to know what are the usual tests that are performed to treat this and will i have to go to another dr or will my surgeon prescribe the medication for me?
