Can't fall asleep

Hi everyone, 2 years postop, and I have so much trouble falling, and staying asleep. I have tried different sleeping pills, antihisamines, and currently taking Neurontin which I just read on here can cause the munchies which I don't need, any suggestions? I am actice, and work partime. I don't drink caffeine in the afternoon either. I did try Melatonin, didn't like the effect, it made me have bad dreams, I am lost at what to do, thank you everyone for your help, hope I am not alone with this problem, nancy suzie meriwether oct 15,2001 278/160 open rny
