Could my gall bladder go bad so soon?

I had LAP/RNY June 17th of this year. (About 4 months ago) One month before surgery, my gall bladder ultra sound came back "normal." Last night I woke up several times to a dull, throbbing pain underneath the right rib cage area. It's not killing me or anything it's just aching and pulsating. So my question is, could this be my gall bladder or am I just being anal? My second question is - Is it possible for my gall bladder to go down hill so soon after surgery ? I am planning on calling my surgeon tomorrow regardless - I was just hoping to get some insight from all of you before I do. Thanks in advance. :)
