Claim experience with So Cal Pipe Trades Fund?

I am looking to hear about anyone's experience with filing a claim with the So Cal Pipe Trades Fund. Did they deny? Was the appeal successful? I am just looking for general info on the process you may have gone thru to get the claim approved thru the Pipe Trades.
