A Contours or Curves question?

I joined a gym called Contours (similar to it's competition, Curves) a couple of weeks ago and I am really enjoying the 30 minute work out. It is a combination of cardio and light weights for resistance. Anyway, the owner claims that we burn 600 calories in a half hour. I find this REALLY hard to believe, actually. Do you think that it's true? I mean, I only consume 800 calories a day - When you do the math, that leaves me with a whopping 200 calories at the end of the day... After working out I feel perfectly fine, too. I was thinking that after burning that many calories I would feel weak but I don't, which is why I am having a hard time believing that I really burnt that many calories. I am curious to know what other opinions are. Thanks everybody!!
