Can anyone give me information on affects of vomitting from anestisia?

I have had four surgeries in the past and every time I wake up from surgery I throw up. I assume it is from the anestisia and I'm concerned I will hurt my new pouch if I throw up that soon. Any suggestions or knowledge of what to expect would be greatly appreciated!
