Was wondering if you eat more at this stage?

Hi, I am 4 mths. post-op and I tend to eat alot more at meal times now. I know that the more solid foods you eat it is suppose to feel you up much quicker, and sometimes it does, but some things I can finish the whole thing, or maybe I'll eat some, then a couple of hours later, I eat the rest of my food. Solid foods are still hard for me to eat sometimes so, I stick with alot of soft foods and alittle solids at times. So, I was wondering if this is a normal process at this stage and you are suppose to eat more at one time or not? Thankyou for your guys help!!!1
