The last couple of days I have had pain on the left side of my abdomen...l

it feels like a "stitch" or "krink"...and hurts like heck to stand, get out of bed or out of the car...can hardly stand upright...any ideas???? I have had a BM since the pain started so I guess it is not that....I'm am going to e-mail my surgeon..but he always writes...go to the ER... I am trying to wait until I see my PCP on Tues...but if it keeps up I don't know if I can.
