I found a lump on my thigh will this help me to get plastic surgery?

I found the lump on my upper right thigh my regular doctor says it looks like a lipoma. Where the fat has accumulated and it is attached to a muscle. Do you post op's think that this would help me even more with geting insurance to pay for pastic surgery especially on my tummy and thighs. I had her document it for insurance company and document the rash under my panni area also. But I also have extra skin on my arms do you think they would pay for that too or will that part have to come out of my own pocket.
