Has anyone out there run a marathon post WLS?

I was just thinking or maybe I am dreaming please set me straight. There will be a marathon 26.2 miles and half marathon in my town just six months after my surgery. I am working out every day My surgery date is Jul 23. so my question is Can I do this or I am I dreaming. Has anyone out there run a marathon post WLS? Thanks for taking the time to respond.
