Surgery Date Scheduled 4-22-03, PCP says I may have Lupus..information needed.

I went for my final pre-op testing today. My PCP was ready to give me final clearance for my surgery ( scheduled in 3 days on Tues. 4-22) When she noticed something on my labs. She thinks I may have LUPUS!!!!! She sent me right over to the hospital to have 7 tubes of blood drawn. Then she set me up with an appt. with a hematologist on Mon. The lab said this blood work will take at least a week to come back! I have cried my eyes out today. My PCP really is a wonderful DR. & she wants me to have surgery, so I am still praying that I will be able to have my surgery as scheduled. If, you know anything about lupus that you can share with me, I would really appreciate it. Please pray that I will be able to have my surgery as scheduled & that I will not have any problems with clots &/or with my blood. AS these are 2 of the problems with Lupus.
