Denied due to an Exclusion in my Ins. Policy

BC/BS Onpoint policy states "Services for Weight Reduction programs and Gastric Stapling for treatment of Obesity" I am MO & my Drs. letter stated surgery was med. necessary, I have read thru some other Ins. questions on the message boards some people stated morbid obesity is not specified in the policy, also gastric stapling may be considered diff. than gastric bypass, Has anyone been able to have a similar exclusion overturned??? Thnx
