Please tell me this will end!

I am almost 9 months post-op RNY, down 99 lbs. and very pleased. However, beginning at month 7, I began having diarrhea on a frequent basis. It is accompanied by urgency. I saw my surgeon on Tuesday who referred me to a gastroenterologist. He prescribed Lomotil and wants to run tests. Have others experienced this and what could the tests reveal?
