Anyone ever heard of

Hi , I was cruising along fine until 4th month , first diarrhea for a month , then changed to constipation for the last three months , with only being able to eat half my normal intake , and no more than a 1/3 cup fluids at a time without pain , bloating , and dumping. Doc has put me on big pills saying I "might" have this lost loop syndrome , so we'll see if these pills clear it up. They're making me sick , I am dumping on everything I was able to eat before .... any ideas ? Had the swallow , no ulcers , have a small hernia but they say that won't cause it , and gallbladder's gone for years.
