Can food get stuck in your pouch?

I am 12 days post op and on the full liquids diet. I ate 4 oz of instant mashed potatoes last night and feel like they got stuck in the pouch and would not empty out. They were too thick and I didn't realize it until I had eaten all of it. Is this possible?
