Has Any Insurance Paid for Reconstructive Surgery

Other than tummy tucks? My doctor said no, but as I was reading my insurance coverage it said that it does cover cosmetic surgery if it is required to restore or correct a part of the body that has been altered as a result of accidental injury, disease or surgery. I would think because of obesity and RNY it sounds like I qualify. Am I getting my hopes up too high? I have BCBC Federal.
