does anyone know know if these meds are time released

I TAKE PAXIL AND TRAZADONE FOR DEPRESSION. CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THESE ARE TIME RELEASED, BECAUSE I HAVE HEARD TIME RELEASED MEDS DON'T WORK AFTER SURGERY?
