Does anyone know a PCP in NC that is open minded toward surgery?

I am looking for a PCP in the Cary, Durham. raleigh NC areas that is open minded to surgery. I found a surgeon at Duke Health in Durham but my insurance requires a referal. I live in Fayetteville NC but the Dr I have listed as my PCP I have never been to and he is not very helpful. Thank YOu
