vitalady...need an answer!!

I bought some of the sample packs from vitalady. on the package it says one scoop = xxx grams of protein. my question is this...is the whole bag a scoop or should we use a small scoop to add it to other things? HELP!! I'm so confused with this protein stuff...thanks (open rny 5-2-02)
