Everytime I eat or drink anything I

I am 10 days post op. When I first came home, my stomach was growling all the time. I told the dr. that and he said he'd follow up on it. Now everything I eat or drink gurgles in my throat. I couldn't find much about it in the library. HELP!! Is this normal? (open rny 5-2-02)
