Has anyone had problems having a baby BEFORE surgery.

I have not had surgery yet, but would like to. The problem is that my husband and I would like to have a baby first and we've been trying and trying, and the tests keep coming back negative. Is this a common problem for women who are MO? If you can tell me anything I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
